Nottingham can’t tame the Tigers
Nottingham Rugby faced a strong Leicester Tigers outfit at Meadow Lane on Saturday afternoon, losing out 47-5 to the Guinness Premiership champions. The 2,000-strong crowd saw the Tigers run in seven tries, including one from Nottingham back row man Ben Pienaar who turned out for Leicester.

Lady Luck’s not shining on Forest
On Saturday at the City Ground, Forest fans and players alike were left scratching their heads after a noticeably hard working, and good quality performance left them ‘unluckily’ with no points from a game that they deserved three.

Magpies victorious in Cheshire sunshine
There can’t be many better ways of spending an afternoon than that, surely? As the baking Cheshire sun bathed Moss Rose and the huge Magpies following, the Notts side produced a ruthless and effective performance to see off the limited challenge of Macclesfield Town.
