Sven starts off with a bang to get the Magpies singing
Full match report from the weekends “bragging rights” encounter between Notts County and Nottingham Forest. Probably the most interesting bit of the afternoon was the unveiling of Sven to the Nottinghamshire crowd, but unfortunately many Forest fans missed their chance to see the Swede on the Meadow Lane turf, as they queued outside!
Unity can’t handle the power of Brooks & Torr-nado
The eagerly awaited top of the table clash in A between Radcliffe on Trent and Notts Unity Casuals lived up to all the hype and it was Radcliffe who were celebrating after clinching a nail biting two wicket win, thus extending their lead at the top to 31 points.
Good for Football… Bad for Rugby?
Although last week saw some great news for local football and in particular Notts County and its fans the same unfortunately can’t be said for Nottingham Rugby. If reports last week are to be believed then the new regime at Notts County have decided that the green and whites are no longer welcome to use their facilities.
