Outlaws shine as they have fun in the sun
Nottingham Outlaws put in a dazzling display of rugby league football on Saturday when they comprehensivley dismantled play-off rivals Dewsbury Celtic with a stunning 54-12 victory. Despite the sweltering heat on the hottest day of the year, the Outlaws brought up the half century with an 11-try haul that came off the back of some magnificent attacking rugby.

Top 3 in the Notts Premier start to make moves
Another interesting day in the Nottinghamshire Premier Cricket League saw Mansfield Hosiery Mills continue their fine run of form at home to leaders Wollaton, who won the toss and asked the home side to bat. Hosiery Mills were bowled out for 167 in the last over of their innings, Sudesh Fernando top scoring with 35 backed up by Matt New (33) and James Fraser (31). Paul McMahon took 4-33 and Nick Ellsmore 3-41.

Holden shows no mercy in destroying Balderton
The eagerly anticipated early season top of the table clash in Division A turned out to be a one sided affair with leaders Radcliffe on Trent hammering Balderton by nine wickets. Balderton actually won the toss and elected to bat. Yet soon regretted the decision as Chris Holden (5 for 19) ripped through the top order.
