The Academy are taking the Bassetlaw by storm
When Notts. Academy returned to the league at the start of this season, many people wondered what sort of outfit they would be putting out and how would they cope. Some thought they would romp away with the title, whilst others were not quite so sure, but after playing five matches, they sit convincingly at the top of the table with a maximum 100 points!

Cup final round-up and pics from the NSL
There were three epic Cup Finals played last week, including Wollaton who triumphed over Boots in the NSL Senior Cup at Watnall Road. The young guns from Calverton over-came an experienced Bassingfield outfit, thanks to goals from Liam Whelan. In the NSL Junior Cup, Greenwood Meadows Res capped a great season with a 1-0 victory over Keyworth Utd Res. Read our reports inside

Wollaton take an early lead in the Notts Premier League
The rain over the weekend caused a few headaches across the counties cricket pitches. However, there were a few notable results in the Notts Premier, with lowly Plumtree recording their first win against Kimberley and Wollaton took top spot, beating new comers Clifton Village, thanks to some fine bowling.
