Radcliffe are supreme Champions thanks to Rocky
Radcliffe Olympic welcomed Forest Town to the Recreation Ground in a match which was to decide the winners of the Central Midlands League Supreme Division. Having knocked Radcliffe out of both the Nott’s Senior Cup and League cup, along with a league win on their own pitch, many fancied them to continue their jinx over the home side. Up until a defeat last week the visitors had been on a fifteen match unbeaten league match since the start of the year. Read report inside

Nottingham’s Universities go into battle for bragging rights
The most dramatic Nottingham Universities Charity Varsity series in its ten year history came to a pulsating climax on Sunday the 3rd May with the first ever Varsity Twenty20 cricket match – and it looks as through the events have raised over £10,000 for the first time. The thirteen match series was balanced at six points each going into the final “Winner takes all” cricket match. Read our exclusive report inside.

New comers Clifton are the front runners in the Notts Premier
The 3rd week of the Notts. Premier Cricket League’s matches produced some interesting results starting with Kimberley losing their 100% record at Cuckney, who earned a winning draw. Champions West Indian Cavaliers were hosts to Wollaton who won the toss and put the home side in to bat, whereas Caythorpe travelled to bottom side Plumtree for a high scoring match.
