Netherfield Albion lift the crown as Greys can’t stop dreaming of Anfield
After a long time waiting, Netherfield Albion have lifted the NAA crown after a great season under the management of Alan Avery. Rumoured to be their last in the NAA the club easily saw off the challenge of Grey Mare to make their final game a “walk in the park”. Meanwhile Scots Grey had a comfortable win against Plough Barflys, with many of the players minds on their trip to Anfield this week.
Forest secure 3 more vital points, as County stutter again against Morecambe
Over the past couple of weeks Billy Davis has been running down the touchline at Bramall Lane, bellowing constant instructions and berating his players whilst they sit on the toilet, or he does, which both sound a little bizarre! Quickly becoming a Forest Icon, Billy’s magic is definitely starting to work as Forest again picked up 3 vital points as their rivals at the bottom start to show signs of “bottling it”. Over the Trent at County, Ian McParland’s men weren’t able to put a dent in Morecambe’s play-off challenge and came away with a 1-0 defeat.
Preview to the county’s cricket season
Just a couple of weeks away from the start of the cricket season, both the Nottinghamshire Premier and Bassetlaw league have written exclusive previews to the season, outlining their tips for the season and which teams might struggle over the summer.
